HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Please note: Please try to refrigerate all proteins / fish prior to reheating or serving.

All ovens fluctuate in temperature. Please use our instructions as a guide. Keep an eye on the oven and your food to ensure the food is cooked to perfection and not over heated.

CHICKEN SOUP

Microwave the chicken soup for 5 minutes on high. Remove contents from the bag and put in a pot and reheat on a low heat until boiling.

KREPLACH

Do not reheat in the soup ! Bring a pot of water to boil with chicken stock powder (if you have). When the water is boiling place the kreplach in the water for 3 – 4 minutes. Serve in the soup

MATZA BALLS

Do not reheat in the soup ! Bring a pot of water to boil with chicken stock powder (if you have). When the water is boiling place the kreplach in the water for 3 – 4 minutes. Serve in the soup

ROAST POTATOES/ SMASHED POTATOES/ HASSELBACK POTATOES

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Once the oven is hot place the potatoes, uncovered in the oven for 35 minutes.
If you have a smaller serve of potatoes and it has not been delivered in a foil tray please place potatoes in a oven-friendly tray lined with baking paper.

If you have received potatoes with herbs on the side, sprinkle on top after roasting, before serving.

SEASONAL ROAST VEGETABLE TRAY

This can be served at room temperature.

If you would like to eat it warm; preheat the oven to 170 degrees. When the oven is hot, reheat the vegetables for 20 minutes only.

If you have a smaller serve of roast vegetables and it has not been delivered in a foil tray  please place veggie trays in a oven-friendly tray lined with baking paper.

PERSIAN RICE

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. When the oven is hot reheat in the tray for 25 minutes. The top layer will become quite crunchy which is hot the rice should be and the inside will be soft and fluffy.

MIDDLE EASTERN BAKE / MOUSSAKA / LASAGNE

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. When the oven is hot, cook, uncovered for 45 minutes. Recommended to place the tray on top of another baking tray to catch any extra spillage

Single serve bakes / lasagna / moussaka

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. When the oven is hot, cook, uncovered for 15-18 minutes. Recommended to place the tray on top of another baking tray to catch any extra spillage.

TAGINE

Pour the tagine into a pot and on a low heat bring to the boil. Stir gently. Do not allow to burn.

Alternatively microwave tagine. Heat for a few minutes, stir and then continue reheating

Single Portions of Fish

This product has been sealed only. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. When the oven is hot cook for 10 minutes only.

If the fish has not been delivered in a foil container please remove from its packaging and place in an oven safe tray lined with baking paper.

Whole side of Fish uncooked

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

When the oven is hot, cook salmon for 22 minutes only.

If the fish has not been delivered in a foil container please remove from its packaging and place in an oven safe tray lined with baking paper.

Cooked and Decorated Fish

Do not reheat. Serve at room temperature

Note: some (NOT ALL!) fish comes with decoration on the side (salsa, seeds, pomegranate). Please only sprinkle onto your fish before serving

CHICKEN PIECES / CHICKEN THIGH / BUTTERFLIED ROAST CHICKEN

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. When the oven is hot, place the chicken uncovered in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.

SCHNITZELS

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Once the oven is hot, place Schnitzels in an oven friendly tray and reheat, uncovered for 15 minutes.

SPATCHCOCK

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Once the oven is hot, bake the spatchcock for 15 minutes.

CHICKEN RIBS/POPCORN CHICKEN

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Once the oven is hot, place ribs/popcorn chicken in an oven friendly tray and reheat, uncovered for 15 minutes.

 

NOTE: if your food has not arrived in a foil container please remove it from the packaging and put in an oven safe dish lined with baking paper

EYE FILLET

This has been sealed and cooked in the oven to an internal temperature of 48 degrees.
Pre heat oven to 180 degrees. When the oven is hot, place the eye fillet uncovered in the oven.

Rare – 8 minutes.
Medium Rare – 15 minutes
Well done – 25 minutes

Remove from oven, allow to rest for 10 minutes and then serve.

BRISKET

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. When the oven is hot, reheat, uncovered for 35 minutes.

LAMB

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. When the oven is hot, reheat uncovered for 35 minutes.

OTHER SLOW COOKED MEAT

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. When the oven is hot, reheat uncovered for 30 minutes

LAMB RIBS

Preheat oven to 170 degrees. When the oven is hot, reheat uncovered for 10 – 12 minutes.

NOTE: if your meat has arrived in a vacuum seal bag please remove it from the bag and place it in an oven safe dish lined with baking paper.

If your meat has not arrived in a foil tray please remove it from the packaging and place it in an oven safe dish lined with baking paper to reheat.
